The 8th edition of the International Symposium on
Catheter Ablation Techniques will take place in Paris
from October 13th to 15th, 2010 at the Meridien
Montparnasse hotel.
The considerable development of ablation techniques
and the rapid evolution of our knowledge in this field
have inspired us to further modify 2008’s program.
Two and half days will be dedicated to the ablation
of atrial fibrillation and ventriculars tachycardias.
Moreover, this year’s meeting will start earlier on
Wednesday in order to devote the morning to
an update of ablation of the other arrhythmias,
particularly the complex forms. As requested by
numerous participants during former editions, we
intend to summarize the basics, as well as current
developments of these techniques.
Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday will be
entirely dedicated to the International Symposium
on the “Fibrillating Heart,” with the participation of
international recognized key opinion leaders.
All technical and clinical aspects of recent updates
concerning ablation methods of atrial fibrillation and
ventricular tachycardias will be developed, with a
special focus on video presentations and interactive
sessions.
The sessions reserved for laboratory technicians will
be continued. We will also be associating with the
Rhythmology and Stimulation group of the French
Society of Cardiology and the RETAC, who will both
join us during the meeting. They will be supported
by the EHRA and the HRS.
After the success of previous editions, we are looking
forward to welcoming you once more to Paris in
autumn 2010.
